Hon Hai secured its first contract to manufacture AI servers for Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (SPCX.US), with the order estimated to be worth about USD52 billion, Taiwan media reported.

SpaceX reportedly plans to deploy more than 13,000 AI server racks equipped with NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA.US) GB300 chips. Based on an estimated cost of about USD4 million per rack, the total contract value is estimated at about USD52 billion, marking Hon Hai's first AI server manufacturing order from SpaceX.

The order reportedly breaks the previous dominance of Dell Technologies Inc. (DELL.US) and Super Micro Computer, Inc. (SMCI.US) in the supply of AI servers for SpaceX.
